Hi editors and visitors!
As you have noticed pearltrees is back on the track and ready to welcome many more new members. We count on you to help them editing their first maps.
Today’s first theme is quite big: the cosmos. I found two maps about our universe:
In kiwis‘ map you will find most of the greatest websites about the galaxy (NASA, ESA…). Take some time to explore them, they have some incredible news and amazing photos.
Lamiben’s map chose some videos from hubblecast programs. They are quite astonishing, sometimes it is exactly as if you were behind the telescope. The theory is also well-explained and of course the images are beautiful.
The next three maps are about cooking. If you are a bit of a gastronome your mouth will be watering since the first pearls.
Georges Saunier‘s map will give you useful tips (casseroling, prepared/healthy/traditionnal meals…) taken from the website “cuisineAZ”. south african satellite maker
Raphael chose cocktails and nice recipes from the website “cuisine du marmitton”.
Aldaris’ map is a selection of the crazy show “mange mon geek”. It is a mix of silly humour, basic culinary experiences and video games references.
Our last map is about poker! Mikapilou selected four websites to play online. For my own safety I tried none of them, but if you feel lucky you should play a game.

You have probably noticed that the tab “discuss” allows you to leave a note on a pearl. You can use this tool to add an explanation, or an information about the pearl. But, you can also use it to discuss with the community members when you explore their pearls.
If someone leaves a comment on one of your pearls, you will be notified by an email containing a link to the pearl. Every time a pearl you follow is modified (comments, connection, new pearls…), the pearl will sparkle at your next connexion.

Of course it is a real disagreement for us because pearltrees is not available for several hours. It is very unpleasant if you were pearling your navigation when it occured. We do apologize and will make sure that what you have pearled will be saved.
My point here to tell you that this interruption is for the best of everyone. It means that the community is growing and that the use is more and more intense. Since pearltrees is a community it a promise of future really good maps to navigate with and some new editors to meet.
Technically, we are currently adding and reallocating some servers between some of pearltrees process. It will enable us to keep on delivering the best quality possible.
