Last week Paris hosted LeWeb10. For those who live far far away from the tech planet, it is one of the biggest web conferences in the world. It lasts two days and gathers the most successful web companies, tech influencers and thinkers and, of course, the most innovative start ups to share thoughts and ideas.

Pearltrees’ team joined the party!

We came at LeWeb10 to share two amazing experiences:

1. Touch Pearltrees : we wanted you to feel the power of manipulating digital items with the tip of your finger. Sharing this experience with you was cool. And it gave us a lot of  ideas to improve Pearltrees…

2. Pearltrees Team : Thanks to Pearltrees you can now team up with anyone to curate what you like. Just watch this interview of Patrice Lamothe our CEO, by Robert Scoble:

LeWeb10 was also a great example of collaborative curation: more than 20 people teamed up to curate together the cool links about the conference.

Depuis plusieurs mois, vous éditez vous-même vos pearltrees. Vous avez découvert de nombreuses perles et vous les avez partagées avec vos amis sur Twitter, Facebook, ou directement sur votre blog.

Imaginez maintenant un groupe de passionnés qui éditent le même pearltree. Ce serait génial ! Avec la version beta 0.8 de Pearltrees vous pouvez maintenant faire équipe pour découvrir, organiser et partager tout ce que vous aimez. Alors la prochaine fois que vous trouvez un très bon pearltree, n’hésitez plus, faites équipe !

C’est très facile, il suffit de cliquer sur “faire équipe”

Le propriétaire du pearltree pourra alors accepter ou ignorer votre demande

Une fois la demande acceptée, vous pouvez éditer le pearltree comme si c’était le votre.

Ce qui est vraiment génial, c’est que tout se passe en temps réel ! Toutes les modifications apportées par votre équipe apparaissent directement sur votre écran. Sympa, non ?

Gardez un oeil sur votre team feed : les demandes d’équipe, les nouveaux membres, vos invitations, tout y est.

Il y a aussi quelques nouveautés dans l’interface :

• Cliquez sur “voisins” pour voir les pearltrees qui ont le plus de perles en commun avec un pearltree en particulier.
• Le “populaire” fait son retour ! Cliquez dessus pour voir les pearltrees qui ont le plus de membres, de perles, de vues et de prises.

• Tous les liens qui étaient dans la colonne de droite sont maintenant organisés à droite de la barre de recherche.

For months now you have been curating your pearltrees by yourself. You’ve discovered new pearls and enjoyed sharing curations with your friends on Twitter, Facebook or directly on your blogs.

Now imagine a group of passionate people curating the same pearltree. It would be fantastic! With Pearltrees beta 0.8, you can team up to discover, organize and share what you like. So when you find a great pearltree don’t wait, just Team up!

It’s easy, just click on “Team up”

The owner will then accept or ignore your request

Once accepted, you can curate it like your own.

A really cool feature is that everything happens in real-time! This means that any change to the pearltree made by your team will appear on your screen immediatly. Cool, isn’t it?

Check the events in your team feed : your team request, the new members, your invites, they are all in there.

They are also new features in the interface:

• Click on “related” to display the pearltrees that have the most pearls in common with a specific pearltree.
• And “popular” is back! It displays the pearltrees that have the highest number of members, pearls, hits and picks.

• All the links that were on the right column are now organized in the buttons located at the right of the search bar.

So, with who will you team up?
