Hey editors and visitors!

As in May sunny days are on their way, we guess some of you might go to the countryside during the week end. Here is a little help to prepare this exciting trip.

Those maps made by odile will answer all the questions you ever had about sewing machines, and show you how sewing could save the coral bareer.

In these other maps by odile and facyla you will learn a lot about patchworks. You might even be able to realize one if you read carefully.

Bouche42 made an explosing map about tiling. Now you have no more excuse if your tiles are not dazzlingly shiny!

Eventually, Bennnou’s map reveals all the secrets concerning the inside of a flipper and Chunxia did a map about the famous go game (to play something else than chess in front of the chimney).
Enjoy!

This new release is a real paradox since at first sight nothing seems to have changed but looking closer at it… everything has changed. This “consolidation” release has reinforced the platform in many little but, at least, important things.
First I would say that pearltrees is now stronger to welcome newcomers. It is more scalable and more welcoming. It is an opportunity for me to encourage you to “invite your friends”. It is important to make pearltrees environment grows, the most pearls in pearltrees, the richest the social life will be.
Second, you will enjoy some many details like the cursors that have been redesigned to be more coherent with global design and more fluid to use. You will also appreciate the pearls that grows bigger when passing the mouse over. Eventually, you might notice that the maps are more stable when opening and closing them.

And last but not least, we have deeply redesigned the pearlbar offering you the capacity to pearl directly your pearls in the map of your choice. That is a very powerful tool for big map maker that browses the web and will appoint the “pearls” they find on the web directly to the dedicated map in their account. So go to “settings” select the “pearlbar” tab and download the new pearlbar, you will be surprised.

You may have noticed that the header changed this week. We like here the youth/old idea and the irrestible invasiveness of life and colours that bring youth. It is quite the same with the Internet and the old media. Just a revolution. One important thing, it is the first time we have found the header within pearltrees (a special thanks to Abbeyrouth)
If you are a beatle fan you will find amazing picture clicking on the pearl above (once one the map click play and use the arrows to browse the map)
