Hey editors and visitors!
As pearltrees editors are mainly handy internet users and know quite a bit about computers, we decided to dedicate this week’s edition to maps about computers and internet.

Here are two maps about the famous Linux system made by kiwis and skisoo.

Fortunately for Apple, Tersant also did a map about another operating system 😉

iyo13 achieved a useful map, which explains how to lower your computer’s noises. Though it is a bit technical it seems to be worth a try if you like silence.

All the information you need to know about this new ambitious internet activity are cleverly gathered here by fififiou!

Eventually, laura made a very vast map about the web 2.0. There are a lot of interesting topics (such as cybernetic, global intelligence, research…), please check it.
Enjoy!

As you know the “pearltrees map” is very new format on the web. We are all pretty used to it within pearltrees. Some of us within the community are also bloggers and now complete their posts and their blogs with some maps. Some of us also use maps’ url on twitter or for their facebook status.
Thanks to those pioneers “pearltrees map” is more and more known and used on the web. But there is still a category of webplaces where pearltrees maps have not been seen : FORUMS
That is why I am now asking for forum contributors that would be volunteer to post some pearls on their favorite forums. We tried to do so yesterday with Abbeyrouth that posted his “Lucy on the web” map on a beatles fans forum and it worked really good. Visitors were happy to discover so many good blogs about their favorite bands and the map was seen more than a hundred times.
If you are a regular contributor to a forum, would mind trying to post some maps to nutrish your favorite topics? If you have any questions, you can contact me at : francois.rocaboy@pearltrees.com
See you soon.
